nemu is a tamagotchi coded entirely in ruby on rails! The Ruby code backend handles the pet database, evolution, and stats, and a Rails frontend is presented to the user. nemu was stylized around a traditional terminal window, and uses Postgres to be fully functional forever and remember your pets, meaning your sessions are persistent, even if you close the tab. ***NOTES***: First of all, please note that the pet will die after 25 ticks if you don't feed it. If the pet dies during review, hatch a. new one and feed it between 20 and 25 ticks. For review purposes, tick speed has been increased to one tick every ten seconds, and it takes twenty ticks, a.k.a. 200 seconds, for Nemu to transition from egg to chick. Normally, this would be one tick a minute. Please return this project if you would like it to be faster / need a demo video. Thanks!
